An old and once almost forgotten classic recipe that came roaring back into popularity at the end of the 00’s.
It’s not an obviously popular drink as it uses some less well-known ingredients that deliver some robust flavour profiles. However, like the Negroni, it has found an ever-growing number of fans, and once you get hooked on its flavour profile, you’ll be hooked for life. Read More
Make sure to give your Last Word a long and hard shake when making it to ensure the ingredients are diluted to the perfect point. There’s a lot of flavour packed in here, so the drink needs enough water to open up those flavours and bring it into balance. Green Chartreuse is bottled at 50% ABV / 100 proof, so if that’s also combined with a higher strength gin, you have plenty of alcohol that needs unlocking.
