Some recipes write themselves. There’s nothing mysterious in the Radcliffe Rum Sour cocktail recipe. Just use great ingredients and you’re left with a rich, satisfying and dangerously moreish drink. It’s both refreshing and deeply flavoursome, with a complex finish that lingers delightfully on the palate.

Serve it up or on the rocks, just make sure to pick a high quality Dark Rum and use good pressed apple juice. None of that thin brown stuff made from concentrate!
Ingredients
- 45 ml DARK RUM (3 parts)
- 30 ml PRESSED APPLE JUICE (2 parts)
- 15 ml FRESH LEMON JUICE (1 part)
- 7.5 ml VANILLA SYRUP (1/2 part)
How to make it
- 1 – Add all ingredients to your cocktail shaker and fill with ice.
- 2 – For best results, make your own vanilla syrup.
- 3 – Shake hard and strain into glass.
- 4 – Garnish with a fan of fine apple slices.
