A long, light, and refreshing recipe that’s as suited to celebrating the holidays as it is being enjoyed in a warm and sunny garden. There’s never a bad time for a Russian Spring Punch. Just proceed with caution, it packs a punch!
It’s a less well known classic created by the legendary London Bartender, Dick Bradsell. The man who also gave the world the Espresso Martini and the Bramble…what a resumé!
Vodka
Shake
Ingredients
- 45 ml VODKA (3 parts)
- 20 ml LEMON JUICE (1 1/3 parts)
- 15 ml CASSIS (1 part)
- 7.5 SUGAR SYRUP (1/2 part)
- 90 ml SPARKLING WINE (6 parts)
What else?
How to make it
- 1 – Add all ingredients except for Sparkling Wine to a shaker and give a quick hard shake.
- 2 – Strain into a tall glass then fill with cubed ice.
- 3 – Top with Sparkling wine or Champagne.
- 4 – Garnish with a wheel of lemon and whatever berries or currants are in season.
