WHISK(E)Y A Whisk(e)y Soda, Whisk(e)y Highball this drink has been known by many names around the world, but all that really matters is that you pick a Whisk(e)y you enjoy drinking. You get out what you put in.

SPARKLING WATER Choose something highly carbonated with a light flavour to give the drink the ‘FIZZ’ it needs and not add minerality that you don’t want. You can of course make your own, which will allow you to control the carbonation and be more waste conscious.

Why we chose this recipe for you

A great way to enjoy your favourite Whisk(e)y, but in a long and refreshing format…maybe you’re sat in the sun! Good for you. Just beware, they go down VERY easily!

Club Soda, Soda Water, Sparkling Water. Whatever you prefer, and whatever you call it, this is one of the three great effervescent mixers used in cocktails along with Ginger Beer/Ale and Tonic Water.

It adds texture through carbonation, and dilution without adding strong flavours or any sugar. However, if you add too much, it can wash out the flavours of the spirit, so pay attention to your measurements.

As more and more people become aware that ingesting a ton of sugar is really not great for your body, especially on a regular basis, many are moving away from sugary mixers towards options like this. We’re not hating on sugary sodas, but it’s good to have a balance in drinks as well as life.
