The first of its kind, Junipero Gin fearlessly led the birth of American craft Gin in 1996.

Junípero is Spanish for ‘juniper berry the main botanical in Gin. Read More

Hell bent on elevating juniper & citrus flavors, the distilling team forged a new path by crafting each batch of Junipero in a small copper pot still, scouring the globe for the most expressive botanicals, and boldly bottling at an unfiltered 98.6 proof.

Decades later Junipero is still made by hand in San Francisco and celebrates those who break with convention to pursue an original path.

What we say about Junipero Gin

American Gins have tended to back away from the juniper forward London style Gins, that were the mainstay of the Gin world since Victorian times and before. However Junipero, is firmly in the stable of high-quality classic Gins, and as the name suggests, you can actually taste the juniper in it.

It’s incredibly smooth and well balanced which means, as any great Gin should, it can work in all your favorite classic Gin cocktails. It works especially well in a Dry Martini, from Bone Dry to 50:50, that really allows the Gin to shine.Read More

It’s also bottled at a high strength, which carries more flavour from the still, to the bottle and into your cocktails. In order to take advantage of the benefits that come with this added strength, and find the perfect balance, you need to pay a little extra attention. Therefore, your Martini will need a longer stir, your Tom Collins a little more soda and your shaken cocktails a few more shakes. All to ensure you add enough dilution and unlock all those wonderful flavours.
